ABOUT
We are in partnership with AARP Georgia and support their Age-Friendly Communities Initiative. We believe that communities should provide safe, walkable streets; age-friendly housing and transportation options; access to needed services; and opportunities for residents of all ages to participate in community life. This walking program is one of our efforts to help achieve these goals. Join us for this free program. Many thanks to Kay Sibetta, Associate State Director - Community Outreach.
We are dedicated to work toward the enhancement of the quality of life of the citizens of DeKalb County by connecting communities to exceptional parks, recreational facilities, and cross-generational programs that promote healthy and active lifestyles. Just Walk works with DeKalb County Park Ranger Jonah McDonald and Wellness Coordinator Michelle Walldorff to bring you this wonderful program.
Our nonprofit organization was founded with the primary purpose of working in the community with individuals and collaborating with organizations to help provide and promote various happy and healthy lifestyle aspects that can result in wholesome fun, fitness, and flourishing positivity that will inevitably improve anyone's current state to lifelong wellness and wellbeing.
